This is a very quick dish and is similar to several Korean dishes. It may be served with rice instead of noodles. Use this recipes as a guide: Add any ingredients you like. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 2 tablespoons chopped crisp pork belly skin, or extra 2 tablespoons oil 1 teaspoon chopped garlic 1 teaspoon chopped ginger 2 cup greens, roughly chopped ½ cup shelled edamame 250 grams cooked ramen noodles 4 ounces braised pork belly meat, or Chinese barbecued pork ¼ cup pork braising liquid, or 2 tablespoons soy sauce and 2 tablespoons mirin ¼ cup green onion, chopped Salt and pepper 1 teaspoon hot Asian chili sauce Heat oil and pork belly skin in large skillet over medium heat until belly fat crisps. Add garlic and ginger and cook for 30 seconds. Add greens and edamame. Sauté for 1 minute. Add noodles and pork belly, braising liquid and chili sauce and continue to sauté for 1 minute or until everything is hot. Garnish with green onions and serve with a poached egg on top if desired. Serves 2 |
